Crossover is now only 7 weeks away and the programme for the weekend is falling into place. We’ve got some exciting new visitors this year including Mission Aviation Fellowship who will be bringing their exhibition trailer (complete with small cinema and flight simulators) and a Cessna plane (for show only unfortunately).
The inflatables will be featuring 2 brand new items (I’ll save those as a surprise) and a bungee run challenge with a difference.
The Girls’ Brigade has got some cool crafts lined up for you to do as well as their disco-diva preparation sessions.
If films are your thing then the cinema has a fantastic mix for your viewing pleasure. From The Constant Gardener to Bruce Almighty and Amazing Grace to Happy Feet there’s plenty to get you thinking or just to keep you entertained.
Christian Aid and the Church of Scotland’s Mission and Discipleship Council are teaming up once more to bring you the MaD Hoose. There will be something for everyone with FairTrade eats and drinks in the COSY coffeehouse as well as mad games, challenges and great educational resources. A giant ‘nots and crosses’ tournament is planned for the weekend down in Stage 2, with the final taking place during Plunge on Saturday night. And don’t forget to get your tonsils limbered up or your fingers free for the Singstar and Guitar Hero sessions.
The labyrinth, ceilidh and disco will all be there too.
There are plenty more things in the pipeline, but I think I’ll save them for another day.
